The refurbished Harewood Whin LTP was officially open on 26 November 2019.  The refurbished LTP will now allow Yorwaste to focus on treatment of higher strength leachates from the newer phases of the landfill.  The project was marked by all at being a success and a great example of working under a partnership arrangement.  This now marks Phoenix’s seventh successful refurbishment project in five consecutive years.
