Following an intensive application, preparation and interview process, our Process Scientist and O&M Manager, Tim Robinson, has obtained both CIWM and CEnv chartership.
Having obtained extensive experience of the waste industry and environmental issues since before his time studying Environmental Sciences at The University of East Anglia, and in particular during a 16-month student placement at SKM Enviros during 2013/14, Tim has continued to develop in this area throughout four years working at Phoenix Engineering.
Having prepared various written reports detailing his involvement with waste management and the environment, Tim presented two case studies at his interview on the 5th June at the Exeter EA offices. These case studies discussed two of Phoenix Engineering’s leachate treatment plants, and their success in achieving stringent discharge consents. Tim presented to a panel of waste professionals from the Environment Agency, a major waste company, and a County Council.
