PARKWOOD LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT REFURBISHMENT
Phoenix has been awarded the Parkwood LTP refurbishment contract by Viridor Waste Management. These works involve design, manufacture and erection of new galvanised steel access steps to existing steel platforms in order to improve safe access. In addition to this the existing sodium hydroxide dosing system will be overhauled with new dosing pump and pipework
PHOENIX PASSES ANOTHER NICEIC ASSESSMENT
The annual inspections were undertaken in two parts with an office review where many aspects of the amendment three changes were discussed. Then later a site review on one of our major installations. There were no non-conformances at either inspection. Membership of the NICEIC with its independent annual assessment assures our clients of our work
WALPOLE LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT CHEMICAL DOSING SYSTEM REFURBISHMENT
Walpole LTP chemical dosing system refurbishment is the third upgrade that Phoenix is undertaking for Viridor at its existing Leachate Treatment Plants. The new reinforced concrete support base has been constructed and the sodium hydroxide storage tank has been delivered and fixed into place. Viridor is currently undertaking an assessment for a power supply upgrade.
HATFIELD LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT BIOLOGICAL COMMISSIONING
Biological commissioning of the Hatfield LTP is well underway with seed sludge being introduced last week. Throughput is already nearing capacity and we expect to be up at capacity by the end of the week. COMMISSIONING STARTS AT SHELFORD LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT
Phoenix Engineering construction team has handed over the refurbished Viridor Shelford Leachate Treatment Plant to the commissioning team. Plant tests and calibrations have been underway with process commissioning having starting 23rd April 2016. The refurbished plant is now CIRIA 736 compliant and has had a 5% increase in treatment capacity. Keep an eye on our
SHELFORD LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT
MEICA fit out of the Shelford Leachate Treatment Plant is going well and is on programme. Commissioning is planned for April/May 2016.

ARDLEY LTP REFURBISHMENT WORKS
Construction of the new automated sodium hydroxide and anti-foam dosing system at the Ardley Landfill Site Leachate Treatment is well underway. Commission is being undertaken this week.
