HATFIELD LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT – CEMEX
Following installation of 65 tubular steel piles into chalk bedrock, Phoenix has now started construction of the process tank pile caps. Site ground condition required construction of a one metre thick granular pile mat reinforced with three layers of geogrid.
HATFIELD PROJECT STARTS
Phoenix have started the groundworks for a £1.4m Leachate Treatment Plant at the Hatfield landfill site for CEMEX. The plant will take 10 months to complete.

IWWG 15TH INTERNATIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT AND LANDFILL SYMPOSIUM – SARDINIA
Phoenix Process Director Howard Robinson will be lecturing on the treatment of leachate from landfills at this year’s symposium. Howard is a board member of the IWWG and will also present papers on – THE USE OF REED BED SYSTEMS
