Phoenix have commenced trialling leachate from United Mines for SITA. Sample leachate was collected and the trial plant set up using the same "seed" sludge used for the Connon Bridge trials. Phoenix have commenced Leachate "Treatability" trials for SITA. The trials are being undertaken at our purpose built containerised laboratory in launceston. An IBC of the leachate was collected for trialling along with a sludge sample from another treatment plant to "seed" the trials tanks. The trials will take six weeks and then our Process scientist
